Grossdeutschland und seine Verwundeten (Greater Germany and Its Wounded) is a photo illustrated publication written by Oberfeldartz Dr. Albert Wolff and published by the Reichsgesundheitsverlag (State Health Publishing House) in Berlin in 1943.
The 5-3/4 x 8 inch, 36 page soft cover book explains and contains photos about battle wounded soldiers, the dangerous work of combat medics dealing with casualties on the battlefield, their important role, field hospitals, surgeons and nurses, the education of military doctors, life and work for handicapped soldiers once back home, etc. Photos show medics picking up and treating wounded Wehrmacht soldiers, surgery and X-rays in field hospitals, amputees doing useful work on the home front and even Adolf Hitler visiting wounded soldiers on a Wehrmacht hospital train.
