Julius Streicher foreword
Adolf Hitler in Franken; Reden aus der Kampfzeit
photo portrait of Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler, Julius Streicher
Dr. Heinz Preiß wrote the foreword of Adolf Hitler in Franken; Reden aus der Kampfzeit, and in it he notes the importance of the city of Nürnberg during the early days of the Nazi Movement, and the frequent visits Hitler made to the city to address the people of Franconia and explain to them his ideas and plans for the Nazi Party and the city. According to Dr. Preiß (who also collaborated with Streicher on his earlier infamous anti-Jewish book Kampf dem Weltfeind or Battle Against the World Enemy, Hitler was assisted by Julius Streicher from the earliest days onward.
Adolf Hitler in Franken; Reden aus der Kampfzeit (Adolf Hitler in Franconia - Speeches from the Battle Days) was published at Easter 1939 in Nürnberg, the City of Nazi Party Days. The rarely seen obscure book bears the dedication by Julius Streicher to “Adolf Hitler, the Creator and Leader of the Greater German Reich, in Honor of his 50th Birthday, with Gratitude and Loyalty.”

The book starts with a photo portrait of Adolf Hitler above a portion of a poem Hitler recited in Nürnberg on 28 October 1928, which translates as "Heaven gives no bread to the idle and no freedom to cowards!"
The chapters in Adolf Hitler in Franken; Reden aus der Kampfzeit consist of patriotic, anti-Jewish and anti-Communist speeches given by Hitler in Nürnberg and the surrounding area from 1 August 1920 until 11 February 1935. Between the chapters are glossy art paper pages with early photos of Adolf Hitler with Julius Streicher, with Deputy Führer Rudolf Hess, Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler, the official standard-bearer of the Nazi Blood Flag Jakob Grimminger, enthusiastic crowds of Hitler admirers as well as many rare Nazi posters announcing Hitler Kundgebung, the gatherings and rallies where Hitler would speak (Adolf Hitler spricht!).
